Due to the warm tropical weather, beautiful beaches, and amazing all inclusive resorts, the Caribbean is often known as the perfect location for destination weddings and romantic getaways. Yes, this is true, but the Caribbean has much more to offer. The Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and Jamaica are perfect for any type of travel, including vacations for singles. So, if you have a group of single friends and want to plan an amazing trip together, the Caribbean is the perfect destination.

Once you decide to plan a singles vacation to the Caribbean, you must choose a location. As previously stated, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas all come highly rated and recommended. Your choice should be based on your own personal preference. Why? Because no matter where you go, you will find beautiful beaches, tropical weather, luxury all inclusive resorts, many activities, and amazing attractions.

Since the Caribbean is known for its all inclusive resorts, your group should consider staying at one. Why? All inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic, as well as other areas of the Caribbean, have many benefits. The biggest is ease of planning. Including your airline reservations in with your Caribbean travel package is optional, but recommended. If you do so, one travel arrangement preplans and prepays for most of your trip. Your all inclusive vacation package includes your room, airline reservations, qualifying airport transfers, food, drinks, tips, and some forms of onsite entertainment.

If you and your group of friends are single, you may be worried about costs. After all, there is one person paying bills, such as rent or mortgage, car payments, and so forth. Some individuals in your group may be leery of Caribbean all inclusive resorts and travel packages. Yes, you will pay more money upfront, but you get a better value for your money in the end. As previously stated, your travel package will include airline tickets, room, food, drinks, tips, qualifying airport transfers, and onsite entertainment. Once again, this reverts back to no worries. Most of the trip is prepaid for. Unless you venture offsite or make use of resort extras, like a spa massage, no other money is needed.

If you like the worry free trip you get with an all inclusive resort and travel package, it is time to make your choice. Many all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, including resorts in the Dominican Republic and resorts in Jamaica, cater to tourists. You might even call them themed resorts. For example, a popular resort brand in Jamaica is Star Fish resorts. These resorts are open to guests of all ages, but they cater to families. There are playgrounds for children, kid sized swimming pools, childcare services, and more. Since you are a group of singles planning an adult vacation, you should opt for adult only resorts. These resorts tend to prohibit children under the ages of 14, 16, or 18 from staying onsite. This allows you and your group of friends to relax, unwind, let loose, and have a carefree trip.

Once you have officially decided to stay at an all inclusive Caribbean resort and selected your favorite resort, it is time to book your travel arrangements. Since you are taking a singles vacation with friends, this must be done as a group. If each individual member of your traveling party made their travel plans independently, everyone would end up with a room. You should not need this. On average, most all inclusive resorts in Jamaica and other areas of the Caribbean allow a maximum of three guests in a standard room. Unless your traveling party upgrades to a suite, divide the group into threes. Have one person make the reservation and then spilt the costs evenly to share the price.

Once your travel arrangements have been made and all travelers have a valid passport, you might assume that all that is left is to wait. Instead, take the time to research the Caribbean destination of your choice, like Jamaica, and your all inclusive resort. Since your travel package includes some forms of onsite entertainment and activities, familiarize yourself with them. Before arriving at your all inclusive resort in Jamaica, know what activities you can participate in without paying extra. If you wish to venture off the resort grounds and explore, familiarize yourself with local attractions and their admission fees. You can get started with a standard internet search on Yahoo or Google.
