The ruins of this ancient city are located in a forest and farmland setting, a popular tourist spot and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area hosts the remains of over 1,000 temples (some of which are no more than a pile of bricks) including the famous Angkor Wat, the world’s largest single religious monument.
