Have you always wanted to vacation along the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean? If so, there is no time like now to plan the trip of your dreams. It is easy to find moneysaving travel deals and discount. Moreover, you have many choices. One of those choices involves your staying options. Where can you stay? There are Caribbean hotels, vacation rentals, vacation resorts, and all inclusive resorts. Where should you stay? Continue reading on to find out.

Caribbean All Inclusive Resorts

The Pros: Everything. As silly as it seems, everything there is about all inclusive resorts makes them a great choice. When you stay at an all inclusive resort, your room or suite, snacks, drinks, tips, food, qualifying airport transfers, and some forms of onsite entertainment are included in your stay. This simplifies the process of planning your trip. Inclusive resorts in the Caribbean are also designed so that you never need to leave. There is so much to do right on site. Although resorts do vary, you may find an onsite spa, golf course, tennis court, fitness center, multiple swimming pools, rock climbing wall, and more.

The Cons: Nothing! Really, it is hard to find a downside to staying at an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. As previously stated, your stay will include your room or suite, food, snacks, drinks, qualifying airport transfers, and many forms of onsite entertainment. What more could you ask for? Nothing. That is why all inclusive resort come highly rated and recommended among travel experts and tourists, just like yourself.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals

The Pros: Privacy and control. What is nice about Caribbean vacation rentals is that they are private. Unless you rent a condo, you should be on the only individuals onsite. This is great if planning a romantic getaway. You don’t have to worry about running into other tourists and disrupting their vacation or visa versa. There is also the control factor. You can come and go as you please. Although you can do the same at Caribbean hotels and all inclusive resorts, you tend to have more freedom with a private rental.

The Cons: The cost. As great as private Caribbean vacation rentals sound, many travelers just cannot afford them. In additional to the rental costs, you are likely to be charged a deposit and a cleaning fee. And, unlike all inclusive Caribbean resorts, you are still responsible for the cost of food and entertainment. It will not hurt to look, but, if you are on a budget you are unlikely to be able to afford the cost of most quality rentals.

Caribbean Hotels

The Pros: The affordable price. In terms of overnight accommodation costs, you will find that Caribbean hotels have the best prices. Unfortunately, there is usually a catch. Watch is that catch?

The Cons: You don’t get the best value for your money. As previously stated, the cost of staying at a Caribbean hotel is very affordable. This is because you are paying for your room and your room alone. Of course, you can use the hotel’s swimming pool or fitness center, but that is usually about it. Unlike all inclusive resorts, hotels are typically designed to provide you with the bare minimum for the lowest price. This is okay, but always remember that you want the best value for your money in the end. With a hotel, you still need to pay for your food and entertainment.

Caribbean Vacation Resorts

The Pros: Good, but not as good as all inclusive resorts. As previously stated, resorts give you more than just a roof over your head. They are home to many services, features, and facilities for guests. In most cases, the only difference between an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean and a vacation resort is that you must pay for your food and entertainment. It is not already included in with your stay.

The Cons: The extra costs. As previously stated, you typically just pay for your room or suite when staying at a vacation resort. This means you may need to pay for your entertainment, transportation, food, and so forth.

As you can see, each of your Caribbean vacation staying options have their own pros and cons. What choice is best for you? It depends on your own personal wants and needs. With that said, know that most tourists and travel experts recommended all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.
