For more than one hundred and fifty years the city of London, capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain has been boasting one the most admirable museums of the world with the subject of science and technology. The history of the museum isn’t as straight as it is in the case of other museums and it wasn’t called The Science Museum in its early days. The original idea was actually for Prince Albert resulting from success of an exhibition in 1851. The exhibition was held in Hyde Park inside a building named Crystal Palace hence the design of the building which used large sheet of glass to cover the building. The Great Exhibition proved to be very interesting to the public and managed to attract great attention from both the ordinary and scholar. The popularity of the exhibition and its financial profits encouraged Prince Albert to put a suggestion on the table to the effect that the income should be spent on building of museums and art galleries with educational purposes around the very place of the original exhibition was held.

No word can beat the satisfaction of exploring a museum as opposed to reading about it and this works for The Science Museum in more ways than one so it is highly recommended that you should spend at least one day in the museum and enjoy the items presented there.

For travelers in order to save time and money it is probably a good idea to find a hotel near the Science Museum. One hotel that deserves mentioning here is Abba Queen s Gate Hotel which is literary minutes away from the museum and by far one of the closest hotels to it. Another hotel that has rated five star by the authorities and by guests as well is Egerton House. The hotel prides itself on not having two rooms with the same decoration which seems really amazing and unique.

When you are in London you are not short in options for choosing a luxury hotel as well for example Radisson Edwardian Hampshire hotel with 124 super style rooms which will amaze every visitor. The hotel is just a few steps from metro stops and lots of theaters are around to enjoy. Also we can mention The Royal Horseguards hotel with 280 rooms which in London standard would be considered a really large hotel. The hotel have been rated 4.1 of 5 by its guests which shows the high level of service and facilities provided to the guests. If you choose this hotel you wouldn’t need to worry about transport for visiting Big Bang and House of Parliament. And the best it is also within a walking distance of Buckingham palace.

And last but certainly not the least the Aldwych hotel with an amazing 4.4 of 5 rating by guests that confirm the super high level of satisfaction that the guests feel about it. The hotel has 105 rooms and located very near to Covent Garden underground station and is facilitated with a top of the line gym which distinguishes it from most of the other luxury hotels.
